They are also called Base Tracks. Motorola C330 series GSM cell phones
support groovetunes. Using a special mixing tools called the MotoMixer
and is included on the phone, you can edit Groovetunes to produce
more personalized ringtones.
Other ringtone formats

WAV ringtones
On some new phones like the Nokia 3650, 7650, 9210 and 9290 you can listen to any WAV file. WAV files can be downloaded or copied from PC and can contain anything - voice, music etc.
